Simple elegance and perfect service are bywords at the Ellington. With its central location between the Ku'damm, Zoo and KaDeWe, it is the perfect location for a visit to Berlin or business events.

The Ellington Hotel, moved into the renowned address (it was extensively remodelled in 2007), where Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington played in the legendary "Badewanne" club. Notable as having one of the longest, most eye-catching façades in Berlin, the charm of the late nineteen-twenties and early thirties has also been retained inside alongside thoroughly modernist spaces and rooms.

The 400 m² Summer Terrace (which has been transformed to be weather independent), can cater for a variety of event requirements. Gastronomy is not forgotten, the DUKE Restaurant, which offers space for 65 guests and features an open show kitchen, is the beating heart of the Ellington. A stylish bar arrangement connects the restaurant with the DUKE Bar & Lounge as well as the unique Ellington Summer Garden.

The Hotel were extremely helpful. Everyone in the hotel had the attitude 'what can we do to assist you' and if anything wasn't quite right it could be changed. All the staff were so helpful and smiley! The Hotel Restaurant Dukes is worth a visit, the Dinner that we had on Wednesday night was lovely! Tina was such a great help and it really made my life much easier to have her arranging things for me.

Believe me a great recommendation and thank you so much. I think it was the difference between a privately owned hotel and a chain! I will come back to you when we have a requirement again."
