Following a $450 million transformation, Moon Palace The Grand Cancun opened its doors in 2017 offering a wealth of luxurious facilities and amenities. This new "hotel within a hotel", adjacent to Moon Palace Cancun, is just 10 minutes from Cancun International Airport and is set amongst 123 acres of lush tropical foliage with its own vast expanse of white sandy beach.

With 1316 spacious and elegantly designed bedrooms, two vast ballrooms, an auditorium which seats 187, 15 further meeting rooms and 3 terraces, this luxurious resort is the ideal setting for a large event. Furthermore, the rate quoted for an event includes everything apart from a/v, décor, entertainment and beach set up. Ten beautifully designed restaurants provide a variety of refined and tempting dishes - from Lebanese and Asian to Mexican and Peruvian cuisines and the 6 bars serve premium brand beverages. Both adults only clubs can be hired exclusively, offering a daytime pool club complete with cabanas and Unique night club with DJ. Delegates also have access to a further 12 restaurants at Moon Palace next door.

Leisure facilities include Awe Spa with 60 treatment rooms, Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, numerous outdoor swimming pools, Bowling Alley and fully equipped gym.

Group activities are plentiful, from cultural visits to ancient Mayan ruins to activities such as jungle tours and rafting or ziplining through the network of underground rivers known as cenotes.
