Located on the beachfront of La Malagueta, Gran Hotel Miramar *****GL, a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World and Virtuoso Preferred, is an icon of luxury and history, ideal for corporate events and MICE gatherings. Originally opened in 1926 by King Alfonso XIII and masterfully designed by architect Fernando Guerrero Strachan, the hotel has been restored by Hoteles Santos to its original glory, preserving its historic and architectural charm as Málaga’s only 5-star Grand Luxury property.
The hotel offers 190 elegant rooms and suites, including 27 suites and 2 royal suites, many with balconies and stunning views of the Mediterranean, the city, or the historic gardens. Natural light, refined interiors, and attention to detail create an inspiring environment for guests and professionals alike. Three restaurants serve a variety of cuisines, complemented by an exclusive spa for relaxation after a busy day.
Gran Hotel Miramar *****GL provides 10 versatile event rooms totaling approximately 1,700 m², plus terraces and gardens for outdoor events overlooking the sea and city. The largest spaces can host up to 600 guests, while historic interiors offer elegant alternatives for conferences or celebrations in any weather.

Hosmarkhotels ‘Going Greener’ strategy has been developed as MICE, leisure & business travel markets are beginning to concentrate their activities on suppliers that have strong green credentials. As many of our partners are in diverse destinations, it is key that the hotels are operated in a sustainable way and that the impact of tourism does not have an adverse effect on the indigenous people and wider environment of that country.
Many of our hotel partners are committed to environmental, social and cultural conservation across their locations and are working towards recognised accreditations. As such, we have asked our hotels to provide details of their policies and activities in our survey below. More information and links to the evidence that support this survey can be found here: This hotel's Green Survey
