Award Winning Country House Hotel in Hook, Hampshire
The Elvetham Hotel is a grand country house hotel in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. The current building was constructed in the 19th century, but the site of Elvetham itself has a history spanning over 1,000 years. Both the famous Seymour and Calthorpe families have entertained lords, ladies, and members of the Royal Family, most notably King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. Today, The Elvetham has been lovingly renovated into a modern 92-bedroom hotel, spread over three unique buildings: The Main House, The Stables, and The Gardener’s Cottage, all whilst maintaining the charm and history of the buildings and the site itself.
The meeting rooms are a blank canvas for your event. The Main House at The Elvetham contains four meeting and event spaces, including The Library, The Oak Room, and The Morning Room, which are perfect for up to 120 delegates and can be adapted and tailored to your needs.

Hosmarkhotels ‘Going Greener’ strategy has been developed as MICE, leisure & business travel markets are beginning to concentrate their activities on suppliers that have strong green credentials. As many of our partners are in diverse destinations, it is key that the hotels are operated in a sustainable way and that the impact of tourism does not have an adverse effect on the indigenous people and wider environment of that country.
Many of our hotel partners are committed to environmental, social and cultural conservation across their locations and are working towards recognised accreditations. As such, we have asked our hotels to provide details of their policies and activities in our survey below. More information and links to the evidence that support this survey can be found here: This hotel's Green Survey
