At Hospes Maricel & Spa, two buildings make up the hotel, the Palace Building inspired by the style of the 16th and 17th centuries and the avant-garde style Natura Building. Very close to the hotel you will find some of the most emblematic locations on the island, such as the Old Town, the Arab Baths, the promenade or the city walls. The hotel is close to both the beach and the centre of Palma de Mallorca, just 4 km from Puerto Portals and 8 km from La Seu Cathedral. There are numerous water activities such as kayaking, sport fishing, water skiing or scuba diving as well as the Golf Bendinat course a 2-minute drive away, or tennis and paddle tennis at Puerto Portals just a 5-minute drive away. Discover the Mallorcan nightlife in one of the many venues you’ll find in the Santa Catalina neighbourhood, the La Lonja area or Palma’s Paseo Marítimo.
The diversity of Mallorca is also reflected in its traditional dishes, with fresh seafood such as fish and shellfish or the famous sobrasada with local red paprika. Pastry lovers will also find a wide range of typical island sweets such as ensaimadas, coca de albaricoques, tarta de requesón or coca de Valldemossa, a potato bun with hot chocolate.
The Maricel restaurant offers an innovative take on Mallorcan classics with a modern twist, enjoy in either of the two dining rooms or on the terrace with an atmospheric sea view.
The hotel can accommodate any type of event, from company meetings to product presentations. All the rooms have natural lighting, air-conditioning system and capacity for up to 200 guests.
The Bodyna Maricel is in the Natura building attached to the hotel’s Palacio building, where you can enjoy a relaxing massage and beauty treatments in the stone arches right next to the sea. You can also exercise in the fitness room and the indoor or outdoor swimming pools, or continue your relaxation experience in the sauna, the hammam, the jacuzzi or the solarium terrace with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.
