A beautiful combination of spacious colonial design and touches of contemporary Mexican décor, the Cozumel Palace has 169 ocean view rooms, all with a jacuzzi, balcony and hammock. The hotel has four restaurants serving delicious Italian, Oriental and Mexican cuisine. Outdoor dining is a favourite, with the beautiful turquoise Caribbean Sea as a backdrop.
Resort amenities at Cozumel Palace include two swimming pools, an amazing Infinity pool, diving pool and swim-up bar. The island's magnificent coral reef is the second largest reef in the world. Excellent snorkelling is available in front of the resort which is located close to beaches and a 15 minute walk from downtown San Miguel, which is the largest town on the island.
The transfer takes around 50 minutes from Cancun International Airport, together with a ferry journey of 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen.
Hosmarkhotels ‘Going Greener’ strategy has been developed as MICE, leisure & business travel markets are beginning to concentrate their activities on suppliers that have strong green credentials. As many of our partners are in diverse destinations, it is key that the hotels are operated in a sustainable way and that the impact of tourism does not have an adverse effect on the indigenous people and wider environment of that country.
Many of our hotel partners are committed to environmental, social and cultural conservation across their locations and are working towards recognised accreditations. As such, we have asked our hotels to provide details of their policies and activities in our survey below. More information and links to the evidence that support this survey can be found here: This hotel's Green Survey
Palace Resorts has properties located in a number of geographical zones with very high ecological importance. Which is why they have instigated an Environmental Management System that oversees all the activities that impact the natural environment, from planning and construction to day to day operation. This strategy will ensure that the environmental performance will continue to improve over time.
