The Grand at Moon Palace… taking all-inclusive to another level

Following a $450 million transformation, Moon Palace The Grand Cancun opened its doors in 2017 offering a wealth of luxurious facilities and amenities. This luxury resort, adjacent to Moon Palace Cancun, is just 10 minutes from Cancun International Airport and is set amongst 123 acres of lush tropical foliage with its own vast expanse of white sandy beach.

The hotel offers 1304 elegantly designed bedrooms and eleven beautifully designed restaurants which provide a variety of refined and tempting dishes - from Lebanese and Asian to Mexican and Peruvian cuisines. The 13 bars serve premium brand beverages. There are two adult-only clubs offering a daytime pool club complete with cabanas and unique night club with DJ. Guests also have access to a further 17 restaurants at Moon Palace next door.

Leisure facilities include Awe Spa with 60 treatment rooms, Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, numerous outdoor swimming pools, water park with slides, lazy river, Flowrider surf simulator, Bowling Alley and fully equipped gym.

Activities are plentiful, from cultural visits to ancient Mayan ruins to activities such as jungle tours and rafting or ziplining through the network of underground rivers known as cenotes.

Hosmarkhotels ‘Going Greener’ strategy has been developed as MICE, leisure & business travel markets are beginning to concentrate their activities on suppliers that have strong green credentials. As many of our partners are in diverse destinations, it is key that the hotels are operated in a sustainable way and that the impact of tourism does not have an adverse effect  on the indigenous people and wider environment of that country.

Many of our hotel partners are committed to environmental, social and cultural conservation across their locations and are working towards recognised accreditations. As such, we have asked our hotels to provide details of their policies and activities in our survey below. More information and links to the evidence that support this survey can be found here:  This hotel's Green Survey

Palace Resorts has properties located in a number of geographical zones with very high ecological importance. Which is why they have instigated an Environmental Management System that oversees all the activities that impact the natural environment, from planning and construction to day to day operation. This strategy will ensure that the environmental performance will continue to improve over time.
