Signing up as a vaccination volunteer is a fab way to spend time during furlough – it’s extremely rewarding and very social.  Its heart-warming to see so many people come through the doors with positivity, hope and smiles and then leave with a newfound confidence and spring in their step. I’m in awe how tirelessly the medical teams are working – Club Batchwood in St Albans can cope with up to 2000 people per day! But its also so wonderful how the community has come together in support with donations to help us through the day such as chocolates, biscuits, home made brownies and essential hand warmers for the arctic weather – last week we even received a Dominos pizza delivery!
